Institutions (governments, states, banks, corporations ...) wither and die, and as of the individuals amidst them, they grow and thrive.

There is a major flaw in the bailouts, in the way it is approached by all governments and states. That the institutions are worth saving, that they matter more than the individuals. That it is, a dire necessity and a noble act, to sacrifice individuals, in the altar of institution preservation. Of preserving the institutions.

Somebody can insist that by saving the institutions, you save the individuals. The recent aftermath of the bailouts, points to the opposite. Banks and financial institutions resent the bailouts, as it would tie them with restrictions in their managers compensation schemes. A clear point towards the self-contained role of the institutions. They are not there to provide a service to the individuals, they are there for their own selfish goals, for their very own sake.

The role assumed by institutions, this being; to make certain, that the individuals amidst flourish and thrive, it is not. It is the opposite. Namely, for institutions to flourish and thrive, and the individuals to wither and die.

Institutions are like children, in mentality. Despite their apparent awesomeness, emanating by all the individuals involved in their running, their rules and regulations devised, are but mere figments of a child's unwarranted mind.

In the era ahead of us, it becomes quite clear that, it is the institutions that have to adapt and adjust, to the needs and wants of the individuals and not the other way around. Individuals, because societies most and foremost are built by, and not by institutions. Long before any institution springs out, and assumes control, the customs and norms, the habits individuals adhere to in societies, are already there, and if it were left to their own devices, instead of being controlled and prescribed from above, the next stage of its evolution, would have arrived from within.

The forced prerogative for the organization to survive, that everybody should submit to its demands.

Well you are wrong the organization, the system devised, is there for the individuals within, to flourish and thrive. For the organization to fit in its role and grow stronger, it can only do so:

if it assists,
it is conducive,
it provides the means,

to the growth of every individual within its boundaries and to always adjust, to the demands put forth by the individuals within and not the other way around.

An organization, a system that demands from the individual to adjust to its structure, the rules and regulations instead of adjusting itself to the individuals needs and wants, it fails.

In fact, they have being failing, all those years past, by what they used to call revolutions, what institutions, in the vast range of forms they can take, regarded as loathsome and a scourge, a menace to societies and they were utterly resisted, entering in a struggle to purge and eradicate them from the face of the earth, till institutions had to succumb, to people's awesome power.

Nowadays, the loath and scourge still exists, but in an era where communications are so widespread, they are almost impossible to surface, to pop their ugly head out, to attain their goals, to manipulate and to be accepted by individuals. They fail and will continue to fail.

Individuals becoming wide-bore channels, open to innovative and ground breaking ideas, a fertile ground continuously growing, soon to become a real deterrent against any systems that impose themselves from above, stealing out of the individuals in societies, the control of their lives.

The tattered western monetizing systems, still exercising their holds. States such as China, Iran, which, despite been born out of revolutions, ended up as institutions with a self-preservation angst, where the lives of individuals are second placed, in their agenda.

It is not the state of Iran, it is not the state of China that matters, but the individuals amidst them, which they have to be given all that they need to flourish.. You do not lead. You make sure that everything is in place, that matters for the individual.

Institutions wither and die, and as of the individuals amidst them, they grow and thrive, one way or the other, sooner or later.

Yes it can be done!

Yes it can be done! Thoughts brewing, warming up ...

utopia, what is utopia?

it will grow out of the idea of volunteerism

'Volunteerism is the willingness of people to work on behalf of others without being motivated by financial or material gain.'

not by single individuals but by communities of single individuals

' In economics, voluntary employment is unpaid employment.'

It may be done for altruistic reasons, for example charity, as a hobby, community service or vocation, or for the purpose of gaining experience.

' Some go so far as to dedicate much of their lives to voluntary service.'

Totally open. No concept of bosses or employees. Anyone could join in at any time, doing whatever task they found interesting, for whatever time they found appropriate.

individuals that have surrendered their money, their wages to be centrally administered by other single individuals.

individuals that work without pay, the fruits of their work to be administered centrally by other single individuals. A community of

single individuals which will grow, and as a whole would be a formidable force amidst a competitive jungle around them.

... a market force to be reckoned ...

where companies and other instruments of traditional market forces would not be the ones to dictate the terms

any group that has a voice and exercise it by the concerted efforts of its members dictates the direction of demand

' One way in which this is done is through the creation of a Non-Profit Franchise.'

Supermarkets owned by the community of single individuals that supply all participants in the movement with food clothing and other products without payment, supermarkets that are run and maintained by individuals from the community and their only clients would be individuals from the community as their goal is not to profit but their goal being to provide for the individuals of the community.

Their lives would not be sheltered at all, mingling freely with not participating individuals, their ideals the concepts they carry, is expected to become the magnets for other individuals to be attracted to

individuals who wish to join the community will be expected to continue to go about their lives as they did before

participation is expected to come from all walks of life

individuals are expected to shine, as their development of character and personality, stripped as is from the influence of money will develop freely as nature and individuality in self, is intended to.

The goal to be to grow engulfing any activities individuals in our modern society require.

they will form a social network which is real, open and vibrant based on ... what properly fits between one individual with another

unbiased by any considerations of money, power, force of will

recognise unto each other

recognizing our differences and agreeing to differ, our conversations free dialogues of one person to another. Concepts shared through conversations ... overcoming the differences in the conceptions ... by agreeing to differ ... as our differences in our conceptions should not be allowed to stand between us .... participation without prejudice ... would prevent one being intimidated by another ... or one to intimidate another .... all conceptions are valuable

being able to think a concept as someone else thinks the concept .... it is a hard task as such .. that becomes even harder ... if we let ourselves deeply immersed in our ego's clutches ... it robs us of the opportunity to see the world as someone else sees it

... of the opportunity of discovery ... destroys any chances of change

change which so vital for one's development .... the dynamic force that explores our potential ... potential never explored ... potential never realised .. static characters and personalities

... life without change... static ...stagnant ... a life without substance .... a very short life ... its passage through the world, furtive ... and unnoticed

As rules are always spring from the activities individuals in communities are involved, it is expected that the form of the communities will generate the rules which facilitate the relationships between the members of the community. It is prohibitive to appoint the rules beforehand as these will be determined by the communities themselves while on the run. It can only suffice to say that there are guidelines and these are the absence of money or

The rate at which this will be happening or how soon it is dependent upon the changes within the very same individuals in the community, and the community itself. Anyone can join at any time in the process, as equal among equals, leaving behind its past, the concepts adhered, embracing the concepts the community has developed at the time.

Learning will be pursued unhindered by any considerations alien to the development of the very same individual. Learning which will be expected to lead to informed opinions in the individual and encouraged to be used to strengthen the concepts which will open up new inroads in the ways of thinking among the individuals in the community.

This form of developed communities is by no means an intellectual property of any individual, or any state anywhere in the world. Individuals in any nation are invited to participate.

It won't be long when societies will emerge where services is what is exchanged.

It won't be long when societies, will emerge, where services are what is exchanged.

"Performing free services for others, helping out those in need and offering ourselves and our skills to others are some of the easiest things we can possibly do."

There would be a time when traditional, i.e. current, state administrations and governments will become obsolete, will cease to exist, as their main goal, being, to preserve the unequal distribution of goods and services, will not serve humanity any more.

Who are the owners? The courageous entrepreneurs who put up the capital, or the creative and productive individuals? Human productivity is grossly distorted.

How come the individuals, whose activities are responsible for producing the goods and services the world is enjoying, to be the last cog in the machine, at the mercy of this and that entrepreneur or banker individual, to sell without proper exchange value, their expertise and skills, to be thrown out of production whenever the profit margins fall short?

Why this horde of accountants, in banks or the other institutions seem to have the upper hand?

Banks became what they are driven by individuals whose goal, was and is, not only to make money but to make lots of money. Gearing, somebody would say, venture capital, short-selling, options or other invented so-called derivatives, they do not serve any public interest, they are not used by real people, but by people-caricatures of human individuals, people totally detached from reality.

To invest a lump sum and to wait to increase in multiples, not simply percentages

They drag along a horde of other people deeply attached to fairy tales, garages and so on, all out to make money, and in the process forget the people they are.

The service that is provided is what matters, and as it is pointed out in this website

"Getting positive reviews should be one of the primary goals of your business. Prospective guests love to read reviews and hear what other guests have said about their stay in your vacation rental property. They can be hard to come by though, but when you do get them, treasure each one and shout it from the rooftops!"

... positive reviews, a sign that the service provided has met its goal, its only goal. And why it is hard to come by, because what is offered is exchanged in hideous sums of money, services that customers pay through the nose, as every customer knows at the back of its mind, that it is not him or her that is valued, but the money they carry in their pockets. And on top of it, they know, that there is nothing in the world to stop the entrepreneurs to seek higher prices, following the doctrine of supply and demand, if they dare and be foolish enough to openly admit that they have enjoyed their stay.
excellence, quality

The rotary clothesline, a night of strong wind and rain and chaos.

Chaos and and its sensitive dependence on initial conditions.

The rotary clotheslines dryer outside in the open, a system proper, with clothes hung, pegs and clotheslines, as it appeared after a night of strong wind and rain. Clothes still soaking wet, pegs and clotheslines all twisted around, wrapped with one another, a real mess. The ordered state of the hung clothes the night before and the chaotic state, tangled up clothes pegs and clotheslines, in a chaotic arrangement, the morning after.

Trying to untangle the wet cloths hooked by pegs on the clotheslines, in a manner reminiscent of, re-tracing back the paths taken, proved hard if not impossible. But when I unhooked the pegs and took off the clothes, and hang them back again, the only solution, clothes and lines were untangled.

The pegs provided the constraints. Determined the paths followed towards their chaotic states.

The first thought came up, when I noticed the sleeve of a blouse wrapped around successively onto different stretches of ropes that run parallel on the rotary. The wind wrapped the sleeve around the stretches of rope, in stages. At the end of each stage, the state achieved, represented the initial conditions, and these states-cum-initial conditions determined the next state of the sleeve and rope system. The next stage.

Each new state-cum-initial condition represented the arrangement upon which the wind, the force-bearer, the rain, the provider of wetness, which formed stable bonds between the items, the low temperatures which froze clothes on ropes, all-in-all a parametre-fixing process for the new state of the rope-sleeve system, being the initial state for another bout of chaotic development.

That leads to the thought that in every state presented, in any system, there lie the initial conditions capable to drive a bout of chaos, to be the field that chaotic dynamics can unleash its power.

Successive states, from one end to another, and intermediate states in-between. Each intermediate state capable by itself to be the initial conditions for a chaotic development, and possibly a bifurcation to new attractors.

What if someone tries to unfold, to trace back from a certain state, to the state or states before? Not from within the system as the traces are lost.

When I tried to untangle sleeve and rope system, I realised that I could not untangle rope and sleeve by going back to the state immediately before. I had to unhook the pegs and remove the blouse completely. That released the holds between the two items, constraints no longer applied, and as both were freed by the ties chaos created, the items were separated, reverted into their primary states, got released. The same happened with all the other clothes items, which again I had to unhook the pegs, the pegs representing the restraining conditions which were responsible for the chaos in the clotheslines rotary.

Myself, I was acting as an outside force, overseeing the whole chaotic situation and ignoring the rules that created the chaotic state. I acted from above it, provided the solution and resolved the stalemate.

The thought relevant to the way the solution came up, by being out of the boundaries of the system or even being above the system, which it can be taken as a solution provided from a system, in that case the system that includes the system sleeve-clotheslines, is reminiscent of the idea of 'απο μηχανης θεος' or its Latin equivalent 'deux-ex-machina', in the Greek plays of antiquity. Deux-ex-machina offered the opportunity to the writer of play, to invent a solution that the actors needed in the course of the play, which was not part of the plot. It was out of the plot.

The thought about 'deus ex machina', can further be extended in the thought that the solutions provided do not take into consideration of what we perceive, what our senses allows to see. Solutions that appear to be out of context?

It can even be thought in connection with evolution. Speciation? How the selection of a population to become a species takes place? A 'deus ex machina' process to effect selection, instead of natural selection? Rendering natural selection concept obsolete?

Figments reminiscent of what makes the whole more than the sum of its parts? Even implicated with the emergent properties of the whole? Properties that the parts do not have?

Imagine what will happen in similar situations, in systems bringing forth the principles of self-similarity and universality of chaotic dynamics, where it is not possible to have an overall, or an above all picture of the developed situation, the developed chaotic state. In a social situation. Would somebody not feel helpless, suffocated, lost in the tangles that states in every stage, acted as initial conditions upon which chaos worked on and produced the tangles, state-acting-initial condition upon state-acting-initial condition, loosing trace of the state that existed before, that it was before.

Loosing trace of the state(s) that existed before? What does this actually mean? That the outcome state become overwhelming in our consciousness? We can not see underneath it? The parametres and variables of the state presented to our perception, swamps our consciousness and we cannot define what were the states-cum-initial conditions underneath? Preceding the outcome state. Something that possibly has to do with the paradigm shift effect?

One thing comes out of this clothes rotary incident? Chaos works at any given state as if (?) the state presents the initial conditions. Sensitive dependence and all that determines the outcome state. Chaos ignores what the previous states were or are. What it matters is the state at a given point of time and space. All other attributes inherent in the state are irrelevant and are buried under the newly created state. Buried, out of sight, they can not be seen, no stimuli evident, they are forgotten?
